The log cabin we stayed in was perfectly crafted and provided a cozy and warm atmosphere. the views from the cabin were incredible, allowing us to unwind and relax in peace. the practical kitchen was a great advantage, and the initial supply of wood for the log burner was a nice touch. the beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
The fridge in the cabin was more like a wine fridge, limiting the space for storing items.

We had an incredible stay at these log cabins nestled in the picturesque countryside. the views of rolling hills and grazing sheep were breathtaking, creating the perfect backdrop for a peaceful escape. the cabin itself was beautifully finished, with cozy and comfortable furnishings. From the lovely presentation inside to the high-quality finish, everything was immaculate. the spaciousness exceeded our expectations, offering plenty of room to relax. We were also delighted with the well-equipped kitchen and the little touches like tea, coffee, and a bottle of wine. the location was ideal, being secluded yet conveniently close to shops and town. an exceptional choice for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
The mattress in the bed was not as comfortable as we had hoped, with a thin and less supportive feel.

The cabin was absolutely stunning, with beautiful wooden decor that I loved. The bed was super comfy and the owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. The little touches, like the welcome basket with delicious coffee, made us feel so welcome. The location was great, with easy access to the main attractions and nice restaurants nearby. Not to mention the fantastic views - it was a treat to wake up to such scenic surroundings.
While the overall accommodation was brilliant, I have to mention that we didn't find the bed very comfortable, especially the pillows, which made for a few restless nights. However, this is just a personal preference and everything else in the cabin was top-notch.

That there were a few small areas that could have been cleaner. we understand that this is a log cabin and some dust is to be expected.

I had such a wonderful stay at the log cabin in Ulverston. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the nearby village and Lake Windermere. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, checking in with me both upon arrival and before I left. The cabin itself was cozy and beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was spotlessly clean and had high-quality fixtures and fittings. Even without using the log burner, the cabin was nice and warm. The town of Ulverston was charming, with friendly locals and unique local businesses. I appreciated the easy instructions to find the cabin and access the keys. The welcome pack provided was helpful, and it was reassuring to know that assistance was readily available if needed. The wooden interiors and thoughtful finishing touches added to the charm of the cabin, and the bedroom provided a peaceful night's sleep with a lovely view of nature. The fireplace made the cabin truly cozy, especially during the cold weather. Thank you to the hosts for a lovely stay!
There were a couple of minor inconveniences during my stay. The liquid hand soap in the toilet was empty upon arrival, but there was a bar of soap available as an alternative.
